Mission Statement
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee has the goal of promoting an anti-racist/anti-discriminatory culture within the Chemistry Department. We believe that a diverse, equitable and inclusive departmental community strengthens our teaching, learning and research. The DEI committee provides leadership in addressing issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion in the department and in developing and implementing action plans which help us progress our toward our goals. We actively collaborate with student-run organizations, including Wavelength, Women+ in Chemistry, the Graduate Student Association, and Delta.
