Blanchard Professor Andrew M. Rappe's research group has worked with an international team of collaborators to develop new strategies for designing electroluminescent materials. The Penn team, led by postdoc Arvin Kakekhani, worked with colleagues across the globe to develop a computational model of formamidinium lead bromide to explore its efficiency in green LED's using the material and it has led to a publication in Nature Photonics.
