A new interdisciplinary research center, the Chemical and Nanoparticle Synthesis Core, has been established by the Center for Targeted Therapeutics and Translational Nanomedicine with support from ITMAT (Clinical and Translational Science Award), the Perelman School of Medicine, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the Department of Chemistry. It has been designed to meet the chemical and nanoparticle design and synthesis needs of Penn investigators. Prof. Jeffrey Winkler is the co-Director.
