Minh Nguyen, a graduate student in Amos Smith's laboratory, was recently awarded the Graduate Student Award of the International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI). The annual award, sponsored by Sabin Metal Corporation, was established to recognize and encourage outstanding work by a graduate student in precious metals research. Minh will recieve a cash award and an opportunity to travel to the IPMI annual conference to present his research.
