Bruno Melillo of the Smith group has received a 2012 School of Arts and Sciences Dean's Award for Distinguished Teaching by Graduate Students. Bruno and his fellow award recipients will be honored at a School-wide reception on Wednesday, April 25 at 4:00 p.m. in 200 College Hall.
This award is presented annually to graduate students in the arts and sciences in recognition of their contributions to undergraduate teaching. This award seeks to recognize teaching that is intellectually rigorous, exceptionally coherent, and that has considerable impact upon students. Recipients of the Dean's Award are expected to embody unusually high standards of integrity, fairness and commitment to learning.
